New Jersey Landscape Designs

Live Oak emphasizes the importance of a strong landscape design process. This process enables you to make better decisions for your property both financially and aesthetically. Our landscape designers will meet with you to discuss what styles and materials you desire.

The next step is a full site analysis, taking into consideration the ecology and typography of the land, existing trees, rocks and plantings that will remain, and drainage issues. Our goal is to come up with ideas that are unique and will be in harmony with the natural surroundings.

Our Landscape Architects can show you ideas for plantings as well as the hardscape. At Live Oak we strive to design plans that are distinctive, yet environmentally friendly, and will fit your needs.

Before we begin the design process, we will ask you to provide the following before completing your dream design: desired pictures from magazines, web sites, books, etc., our Analysis Packet, the Site/Property survey of your home, and prior landscape plans or architectural house plans. As part of the process, your property will be photographed, and a preliminary site evaluation will be completed

The next step is the creation of a series of custom landscape designs. Your landscape designer continues meeting with you until a final plan, materials and costs are agreed upon. We will provide you with the information you need so you can make an educated decision. A good design will enhance your home and give you and your family a beautiful landscape to enjoy for many years.

One key element in our landscape design process is that we offer multiple design selections to choose from in the first phase of meetings. This will enable you to see unique options you may not have considered as well as your initial idea. We use specialized landscape design software, which enables us to easily make changes at this stage. Once we have gone through all of the ideas with you, a final selection is made and we move forward in one direction based on your input. This way everyone gets into the decision making process.

Design Process Meeting

Live Oak Landscape Contractors, Inc. has a unique Design/Build Process which guides our clients in creating gardens and exterior environments for their homes. We would like to extend an invitation to you to come in to our studio to meet with one of our architects in order to further educate you on this process. This session is designed to answer all of your questions about our unique process.

After a brief presentation and information about our firm, we will explain the steps of our "unique design process". Our goal is to clearly describe to you how this process has worked for our past clients with similar needs. We will discuss several examples of projects which are appropriate and relevant to your project to illustrate the benefits of our services. If you are ready to move forward on your project we will discuss our design fees and you can sign a letter of intent.
